Ever since I saw Victoria’s (from Florence & Mary) snapchat wearing the Elegant Touch Totally Bare Stiletto 003 False Nails £4.65 I knew I had to try them out too. I have a terrible nail biting habit which mostly flares up during stressful times like my studies. I had a family wedding coming up and so I knew these would be perfect. I chose press on’s instead of acrylics as there is less damage to my nail.
The pack comes with 48 nails each ranging in different sizes to fit all nail sizes which is plenty to be able to do a full set plus replace any that break. They are super easy to use. Find a set that fit your fingers, use the glue (you have to pop a hole in the nib, a safety pin works great), pop the nails on and hold for a few seconds. They stick down really well and are ready for painting in no time. These particular ones are quite flexible so they feel a bit more realistic.
I love how these look! My nails are never this long so it’s quite fun having them on. It went really well with my outfit for the wedding reception as I used Sally Hansens Polish in Red Zin. These are great for events but trying to type on a computer is quite difficult for me so I have to trim these down a bit. I also have the Elegant Touch Totally Clear Short Oval 100 which are a lot shorter and more managable for me. Although they are quite tough and because they are clear they require a lot more painting. It terms of lasting time I’ve managed to have them on for a week but I think they could have lasted longer had I not kept fiddling with them.
Have you or would you consider trying these?
Until next time..
