Adding Colour and Definition with SEVENTEEN

Hi all,

I recently joined the SEVENTEEN Bloggers Network which is a place to view all SEVENTEEN products and blog posts associated with them in one place. I think it’s a really lovely idea to discover new blogs and find some new favourites from SEVENTEEN. I have been lucky enough to be sent some products to review for their network so here goes.

If you didn’t already know SEVENTEEN is a drugstore beauty brand that brings you all the classics at an affordable price. I have seen so many posts about this product so I know it’s been very popular which is the Define and Conquer Contour Kit in Medium £5.99*. At under £6 I think it’s probably the cheapest contour and highlight palette (but looks just like a nars compact!) out there but does it do the job? It’s subtle which I like because I’m still new to the contouring game and struggle to get it perfect. The contour kit comes with a handy how to on where to put the contour and highlight which is great for beginners. The contour powder creates a subtle shadow effect under the cheekbones and helps chisel out the jaw line for definition. The highlighter (which I tend to steer away from usually due to my oily T Zone) has a very subtle sheen to it which you don’t notice at first but when I looked back at my photos I can really see the highlight and I really love how it looked. It has definitely changed my mind about highlighters and I think it would be a good one to use if you’re trying out strobing.

The next item I received which I have been wanting to try out since they were invented is the SEVENTEEN Cheek Stamp Blush in Made You Look £4.99*. I remember years ago hearing about cheek stamps by New CID cosmetics but wasn’t willing to fork out for it. I am so happy this has come out in the drug store. The little gadget is so cute (and pink so I love!) it has a mirror on the top which is always handy and when you twist it open you see the stamp part. The blusher itself is inside the cap and so picks up product when you open and close it which makes it ready to use always! The blusher is very pigmented (always a plus) so don’t put too much pressure on your cheeks when applying the blusher. Take a brush and blend it out (unless you like the circles of course 🙂 ) for a lovely blushed look. I really like this shade, it’s a lovely pink and matte which is typically what I am drawn too. I don’t have anything like this in my blush collection so it’s a nice new addition to the family.

I’m really loving what I am seeing from SEVENTEEN and well done to Boots for launching the brand. I can’t wait to try out more of their products and also see what other bloggers are loving from SEVENTEEN on the bloggers network.

Until next time..

  1. Packaging looks a lot like NARS on the contour and highlight.
I’m a bit jealous that there is network. It just confirms that I’m living in the wrong country, we only have trees and trolls 😉

    1. It really does! I love it makes it look so much more expensive than it actually is. Aww I think you can still join the network even if you are out of the UK to still join in with the community! They may ship abroad you never know 🙂
