So March was the month I was rediscovering my old favourites products and I can’t believe I ever let them go into the ‘drawer’.
First which has been my favourite of all is Dior’s Addict Lip Glow – Colour Awakening Lipbalm £24. I bought this over a year ago after reading up on it. This lip balm is like no other and brings out the natural pinks in your lips. It’s insane how it works and looks different on everyone. This has been my everyday lip as it provides a hint of colour and is very moisturising.
Next is Vichy’s Normaderm Night Detox £15*(but on offer at Boots right now!). When I first started using this I was so impressed at how well the oil control was especially in the morning. Eventually it got swapped out with other items but its back in my life and I’ve been loving using it this month.
As an oily skin girl primer is everything. My makeup would melt away even faster without it. The Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Oil Free £29 is really lovely. It fills in my pores, smooths out my skin and helps battle the oil breakthrough a bit longer.
Now if you haven’t tried the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation £36.50 where have you been?? I know its not the best foundation for oily skin but as long as you are putting primer and powders on I still believe this foundation can work for oily skin. The way this foundation makes my skin look.. So healthy and with a nice glow. It’s really been saving my skin over the past month. I use the shade 7.5. Looking at the price now I am a tad disappointed they have increased it yet again it was £34.50 a couple of years ago.
And lastly this is actually not a rediscovered love but I forgot my theme when I was taking my photos so here it is. The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19 One of the most raved, if not the most raved about drug store concealers. I steered clear because it didn’t look like any of the shades would work for me however a friend gave me hers to try in shade 4 and I’m so impressed. Shade 4 on my skin tone is just a tiny bit lighter so it still provides a day time appropriate highlight and it actually is slightly pink tone which has helped to counter the darkness under my eyes. I am so impressed with this little goldmine and completely believe the hype.
What have been your faves in March?
Until next time…
