I’ve finished a few more products so I thought I’d let you know my thoughts on them and if I’ll be repurchasing or not.
First up is the Herbal Essences Moroccan My Shine Shampoo £3.99. I switched back to HE a few shampoos ago… I used to love this brand back in the day and now remember why! The moroccan my shine was super nourishing for my hair making it look really healthy with a nice shine. Since running out I’ve bought one of the Herbal Essences naked shampoos to try out. I’m really curious to see the difference without all the parabens etc.
The next one I was so upset it ran out, is the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Lip Balm £18* which comes in a lipstick form. I’m not a huge fan of digging my fingers into balm and love a tube! This lip balm is great at helping my lips during the winter season to keep them well maintained.
When I first bought the Philosophy Purity Cleanser £25.65 I won’t lie I hated it. I was used to foamy or gel cleansers and this was completely different not quite a cream cleanser but somewhere in between. But as I kept using it it actually has become quite a favourite of mine. In the morning it helps get rid of the oil build up from the night and keeps my skin feeling soft. It’s a huge bottle and lasted me around 8 months with once daily use.
Ok so after the philosophy face cream which smelt awful I went back to my good old Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturizer £23. It smells amazing like chocolate oranges. Since all these face creams cost a pretty penny and don’t actually offer much for my skin I decided to try out The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Treatment Lotion to help my skin with breakouts.
As you can see I do try to switch out my products and try new things but the one thing that never changes is my eye cream! The Origins Dark Circle Minimizing Eye Cream £32 is my Holy grail and I refuse to use anything else.. It’s quite an expensive eye cream but it works magic! My concealer sits better and my dark circles truly are minimized by this little beauty.
And last but never the least Soap & Glory’s Hand Food £2.50. I love this stuff it smells like marshmallows, feels as light as water on your hands and non greasy! Everything handcream should be in my opinion. I haven’t repurchased yet… Only because I have about 15 other hand creams between home and work which I should probably use up first.
What products have you run out of recently? Will you repurchase? Any holy grails? Let me know in the comments! I love to know what other people can’t live without (beauty products of course I’m not that invasive).
Until next time..
