For my fellow bloggers, I’m sure you were all aware or even attended the Bloggers Love Hub event this Monday 3rd November. Bloggers Love are a body that help bring bloggers and brands together. The amazing thing about the team is that they love all blogs, little or large. Mine is a fairly small and new blog (barely 6 months old) yet they kindly invited me to their Bloggers Love Hub events and also have made me a Bloggers Love VIB which is fantastic.
So the event was held at Mahiki club in Mayfair. A great location and a lovely themed club. My only disappointment was it was extremely dim in the venue which meant my pictures didn’t turn out so great (so I apologize in advance!). But aside from that they had a lovely set up with multiple brands around the club talking to various bloggers about their products.
Some of the brands included
Cheeky Poppins who design clip in accessories for shoes! Anyone noticed the shoes with the pom poms getting quite big? Cheeky Poppins allows you to create the same look for far less and with way more personality. Even though they are designed for shoes I would definitely use them to accessorize other pieces from my wardrobe like a head band or on my coat.
I love anything that will help treat my acne and help shrink my pores and Charcoal-Spa had some great products to offer. They are releasing a new collection that’s suitable for both men and women to use. They have used neutral colours such as black to make them more unisex friendly which is a great idea to encourage men to use the range more comfortably.
My favourite of all the brands showcased has to be the Glowbeads. These beads are fascinating! Have you ever noticed how a cat’s eyes glow when headlights are shone on them in the night? It’s to do with the receptors in their eyes which create a glow when light is shone on them. Glowbeads has taken on the same concept and created these incredible bracelets that glow when the light catches them. I saw this on the desginer herself how the beads just lit up when the light shon on them. She was lovely enough to gift me with one the bracelets and I am so happy with it. They are so simple which is my preffered taste when it comes to rings and bracelets. I will definitely be getting a lot of wear out of it this… especially at night!
Not to forget The Blogger Programme was also at the event telling bloggers and brands how they can use their website to connect with each other. It’s a great way to find what brands you would like to work with and the website gives you an opportunity to get in touch with them or vice versa.
The Bloggers Love Hub also organised a fashion show for some of the brands involved in the event and it was fantastic! It’s always nice to see how things look on and the collections were amazing.
It was a great event overall and I have signed up for the remaining events which are happening every Monday in November. If you would like to sign up to the events I will leave the link below for you.
Until next time…
