Today I’m reviewing The Body Shop’s recent release of the Wild Argan Oil range. Some of you may not know but I love argan oil! I have been using Moroccan Oil for a few years now for my hair and last year I went to Morocco and went to see how argan oil is made and all the benefits that come with it. Fun fact – Goats love climbing up the argan oil trees…. I cannot figure out how they climb up but it’s fun to see!
So since I went to Morocco I have been obsessed with all things argan oil. I bought some whilst I was there, which I use on my hair as a treatment from time to time. When I heard The Body Shop were releasing an Argan Oil range I was very excited to see what they would have in store for us consumers.
I popped into my local, had a look around the range and picked out a couple of bits and took home to try them out. I purchased the Body Butter and the Solid Oil Lips. I’ve been using them for about a month now and here is my view.
Starting with the body butter, first of all it smells amazing!! It’s quite solid, I was expecting it to be softer but I don’t really mind. I have this by my bedside and use it before bed to moisturise my hands and elbows etc. It’s moisturising without being greasy which is definitely something I look for in a moisturiser as I can’t stand the greasy feeling. Price for 200ml – £13.00
Next is the Solid Oil Lip balm. This is a solid oil which massages into an oil when you apply it to the lips and is very moisturising on my lips. Again I use this before bed and it does wonders for making my lips feel moisturised and supple in the morning. It smells amazing and I quite like the idea of an oil for my lips as I use one on my face nightly and I adore it. Price for 30ml – £4.00.
I am yet to try more of the Wild Argan Oil range but I am loving what I have tried so far.
What do you think about the Wild Argan Oil range by The Body Shop? If you have tried something else from the range I would love to hear your thoughts!
